An Apology

The following is a statement from Dan McCabe,

Image Of Our Credits
Hi all, so in my very dead state last night I was quoted out of context and jumbled my words, saying ‘really humbling seeing 10 people put 100 percent effort into the same project’. And well that makes it look like we had a small army working on our project, which trust me I wish we had. We have been contacted, (and rightfully so) by transfuzer to give an elaboration on this. Attached to this post you will see the credits texture sheet lovingly crafted by myself and Kyran. In this you will see two sections.
The core team, who are the gentlemen in the beautiful image also attached, were the people who made them game. This is our jam team, those 5. We would have had 6 but in the interests of not going over the team size requirements we dropped the core team to 5 so we could use a voice actor as a content creator as seen on my twitter and mentioned in other blog posts.
Picture Of The Core Team
The special thanks section was dedicated to people who wanted to work on the game but due to lack of availability they couldn’t take part, they as I would expect with any group of friends offered advice as we kept them updated with how the project was going. They suggested ideas and gave feedback. These people are still part of our team, that being ‘Team ART’ which is our group of friends who work on various projects and jams together. Such as this example from our GGJ submission a few weeks ago....
So just to clarify our dev team for ‘Just shoot it’ was the 5 people in the picture. And the mention of seeing 10 people put 100 percent into a project didn’t mean to refer to as actual content creation it meant in terms of support and keeping us sane by providing us with the occasional dose of banter in what was one of the craziest weekends of game development I’ve ever had.
So, apologies for any confusion.
If you are one of the teams who are concerned by this, or just someone interested in seeing our workflow and have the development pipeline we use explained. I would be more than happy to share how 5 people churned this game our in 2 days.

Happy jamming and I hope you enjoy our game!
